Update your own content
We use a Content Management System (Drupal) as a base for oDaycare so that you can go onto any page of your website, at any time, and change the content there yourself. You don't have to go through a website professional else to do it. Plus you can add pages to your site.
Pictures and Graphics
You can use an effectively unlimited number of pictures, graphics or images on your site. If you want to put up images of your kids art work or your new playground, adding those images are only a few clicks away. We'll show you how to add or link to them. If you need stock photography we can help advise you on what imagery to use, and how to purchase it.
Custom Design
Currently all new clients are getting a custom website design included for free with 2 revisions. Why is this important? You only get one chance to make a first impression! Yes it's cliche but its true in websites. You want your parent to come to your site and think "that daycare looks safe", "that child care center looks like a great place for my child", not "when was the last time they took a look at there own website".
Calendar
Put all your special days on your calendar (halloween party), along with holidays. Parents will then have the opportunity to sync events electronically to their phones or electronic calendars. Of course parents can still print out the calendar and tape it to the fridge.
Menus
A simple way to keep parents happy is to keep them informed. If your center supplies lunch and or snacks post your menu, schedule and pricing on your site. It will reduce the number of questions from parents and give them piece of mind.
Built in Rich Text Editor
It's a little bit like Microsoft Word. Whenever you create content on your oDaycare website you'll have a rich editor to help you style your content. Here's a video of how it looks and works.

Blogs
You can set up as many blogs for individuals on your site as you like. If you want to provide every member of your organization with a blog, you can, or you can have blogs for only certain members. Be green, instead of having room reports printed and sent home with parents or taped on the door, put it up on your site for parents to peruse at there leisure.
Discussion Forums
We'll help you set up discussion forums on your site. You can set up as many topic groupings and forums as you like. You can have public forums, or private forums for your parents, or a combination. You can even have super private forums just for officers in your daycare or select groups.
Twitter, Yelp and Facebook Integration
oDaycare integrates with your Twitter feeds, Yelp ratings and Facebook pages. Blogs you post can automatically be tweeted by oDaycare to your feed for instance. If you don't have a facebook, twitter or Yelp account we will help you set them up.
Facebook-like Statuses for your Members
You can even have a facebook like status system in your website for just your members if you wish, giving them similar features to the Facebook status but just within your website.
Member Activity Trackers
Also like on many social networking sites you can have an activity feed along with Facebook-like Statuses to really promote creating a social hub on your website.
Photo Galleries
With oDaycare it's easy to add new photo galleries either for the public, or for just your parents to view. You'll be limited only by your server space, but otherwise you can have as many photo galleries as you like.
Permission Based Content Areas
Control what parts of your site are available only to your parents and employees, and which are available to the general public via a login.
Scheduled Content Posting
Need to post the winners for a contest but don't want to have to get up at 6am on Monday morning to do it? You can make the page and then schedule it to go live at a later date.

Hosting
Every oDaycare website is hosted by us. You don't have to pay additional money to host your website somewhere else. In addition we provide regular backups of your site, as well as take care of any other hosting issues that might arise, from updating server software or architecture, or any number of things you probably have no idea what they are. If your website is a car, then we're not only your car, but we're your garage as well.
Domain Name
If you are brand new, and don't have a domain name yet, we can help you pick a good one based on SEO techniques, and then help guide you in purchasing it, and pointing it to your new oDaycare website.
oDaycare provides your childcare center with up to 20 email addresses, or we can help you set up and go with a Google’s Apps solution to work with oDaycare.
